Just a quick note to remind you about Summer Camp! We start this Monday, July 15th, and I don’t want you to miss out on the sweet community that's coming together, plus the 5-weeks of gentle accountability designed to help you slow down, connect inward, and be more intentional with your energy, attention, and focus so you can head into fall feeling grounded and fortified.
What’s SUMMER CAMP all about?
SUMMER CAMP is a 5-week a five-week hybrid course and community—created with summer schedules in mind—for people who want to reduce overwhelm, fear, and stuckness, and increase presence, joy, and creativity.
I’m calling it SUMMER CAMP because in addition to the weekly lessons and asynchronous accountability, participants will CHOOSE THEIR OWN ADVENTURE - you’ll be invited to commit to a daily practice for 5-weeks. Suggested pathways are a daily mindfulness practice; a daily creative practice; or a social media fast. But you are encouraged to choose whatever you like—I’ve already heard word of people recommitting to sobriety for 5-weeks, or abstaining from sugar.
Camp also includes two 1:1 coaching calls with me to deep dive on what in your life is currently most needing attention. You’ll fill out a (brief!) questionnaire before our conversations so we can dive right in and make our time together as impactful and helpful as possible.
What You’ll Get Out of SUMMER CAMP
By the end of 5-weeks, you’ll feel:
A deeper relationship to your inner self: Connect with your higher self as the driver of your life, with the inner critic where it belongs—in the backseat.
A greater capacity to listen and respond to your life as-is: Grounded, fortified and confidently facing life’s challenges, and less hooked by all the external noise.
Connected to a global creative community: Offer and receive support, inspiration, insights, and illuminations with an intimate and global group of other like-minded rad humans.

You often feel overwhelmed, even paralyzed, by the state of reality

The thought of a flexibly structured “choose your own adventure” summer camp experiment sounds fun and admittedly haven’t had much of that in a while
If this is familiar, the good news is you're not alone. Most of the conversations I’m having with clients and the Self Made community are around these themes. Let’s practice a different way of being in the sweet SUMMER CAMP container, so we can be more effective when it really matters.
Welcome to SUMMER CAMP
Self Made SUMMER CAMP is a playground for developing both personal autonomy, and the capacity to listen for the ways that life is calling you forward. You will be encouraged to take risks, play with your comfort zones, ask for support, and be kind and sweet with yourself and each other.
Over the next 5-weeks, you’ll explore:
SELF-ASSESSMENTS AND MODELS FOR SELF-DEVELOPMENT: Greatly expand your toolkit with practices and exercises you can build on for the rest of your life
CONTEMPLATION: Experiment with various forays into mindfulness and discover what takes shape organically for you (vs. what you think you’re “supposed to” do).
LOOSEN THE GRIP OF IDENTITY: Learn how values shape identity and how to leverage your values as a tool for adaptation, decision making, and problem solving.
REDUCE URGENCY AND EMBRACE CHAOS: Counterintuitive? Maybe. Change your relationship with these forces, change your relationship to your experience of daily life.
How to CHOOSE YOUR OWN ADVENTURE
*If* you have a packed summer, you will be encouraged to commit to ONE experiment for the duration of the five weeks. If you have more space, you might choose two commitments. Don’t make this harder than it has to be. The point of this is not to DO MORE. It is to listen, and respond. What are you yearning for? What calls to you? What gives you that sense of excitement/nervousness in equal measure? Choose that option. And then let yourself be supported by others in the same experiment.
