When all your tools fly out the window
Free workshop: Create your personal map for what you *actually need* (not what you "should" do)
Good morning everyone.
This Thursday morning at 9am PST, I’m teaching a free workshop on BASELINE—one of the most practical tools I share with clients.
But first, some context:
The Four Quadrants of Integral Theory
Developed by philosopher Ken Wilber, the Four Quadrants model offers a comprehensive map of human experience across four interconnected domains:
I (Upper Left): Your interior individual experience—thoughts, emotions, beliefs, consciousness
IT (Upper Right): Your exterior individual reality—body, brain, behavior, observable actions
WE (Lower Left): Your interior collective experience—culture, relationships, shared meaning, worldview
ITS (Lower Right): Your exterior collective reality—systems, structures, environment, social conditions
Understanding these four domains helps us see how everything in our lives is interconnected. When we tend to all four quadrants—not just one or two—we create sustainable change and genuine well-being.
This is the foundation of the BASELINE tool.
What is BASELINE?
BASELINE is a practical framework I created to help you maintain your well-being moment to moment across all four domains of your life. It’s your personal map for knowing what you need and actually giving it to yourself.
Within each quadrant, you identify 3-4 concrete actions you can take. Nothing abstract or aspirational—just simple, doable things. On good days, you might touch into several actions across all four domains. On hard days, one action per domain is enough to keep you tethered to yourself—to keep you operating at whatever a healthy BASELINE is for you.
The beauty of BASELINE: It teaches you to listen for what would actually be supportive to you—a unique individual with unique needs, fluctuating energy levels, and an animal body—instead of holding yourself to someone else’s standard of what self-care “should” look like.
You should attend this workshop if:
You set intentions to start daily practices (meditation, journaling, exercise) and then beat yourself up when you inevitably fall short
You’re tired of the failure/self-flagellation loop that comes from holding yourself to standards of perfection you’ll never meet
You want practical tools that work in real time, not abstract advice about “setting boundaries” or “practicing self-care”
You’re dealing with transitions, grief, stress, or Big Life Stuff and need concrete actions to take when you don’t know what to do
You want to develop self-trust and inner authority instead of constantly looking outside yourself for answers
Things feel TOO BIG right now and you need to remember what you can actually affect
You’ve done this workshop before and want to update your BASELINE for who you are now and what you need in this season of life
What you’ll leave with:
Your own personalized BASELINE map that you can use immediately
A workbook (God I love a good workbook)
The ability to identify what you actually need in any given moment—and the permission to give it to yourself
A framework for staying grounded when all your usual tools fly out the window
All are welcome. Bring a friend—there’s something powerful about creating these tools alongside people you care about.
No recording; come live.

If you are curious about coaching with me, I would love to connect. I have 2 coaching engagement opportunities—either virtual or in person at my home here in San Francisco—open for February start dates.
Coaching is a finite engagement working toward developmental outcomes. It’s also a space to explore what it means to be human. You’ll experiment with practices, activities, and exercises that are designed to support you in behaving increasingly in alignment with your values, and to discover how an outcome of new behaviors is a life that becomes an expression of those values. These are six-to-twelve month commitments where we meet twice monthly, and follow a co-created, collaborative Integral Coaching plan for you to get curious with, live into, and embody.
We start with a conversation, and if it feels mutually good we go from there.
SELF MADE empowers you to liberate yourself from societal programming and step boldly into a life of your design. Posts are written by me, Dani Cirignano, writer, Integral Coach, and intuitive guide based in San Francisco, CA.
